Steeped in tradition, the art of “taking tea” is a rich, rewarding experience. Join Chef Barbara Sheridan at the library, and become immersed in the sumptuous traditions of tea. You will learn how to prepare a proper cup of tea, as well as how to bake scones. Your afternoon tea will include some delicious treats along with those tasty baked scones. To maximize the experience, please bring your own tea cup.
Advance registration is required. Space is limited, and restricted to Bethpage School District #21 residents (Bethpage Library card holders) until June 10th. Out of district residents will be accommodated as space permits. There is a $5 nonrefundable fee payable at the Reference Desk at time of registration.
