From the time that your children are born, the most precious gift you can give them is the joy of sharing books. Chanting nursery rhymes, singing songs, and reading stories can help comfort and entertain even the youngest child. Listening to language lays the groundwork for reading. Join our Summer Reading Club for the youngest of children, and be on your way to raising a
reader! Families agree to read at least fifteen Bethpage Public Library books to their youngsters and submit their booklists. Upon completion of the program you will be invited to a special celebration on Monday, August 11 at 10:30 A.M. See special Children’s Room flier for the exciting details.
