Get in on the library “ant”-ics and “bee”-come a super reader at the Bethpage Public Library. Join our Summer Reading Club and discover an action-packed summer filled with craft programs, shows, workshops and movies. You may choose to read any Bethpage Public Library books that spark your interest. All children will receive a special prize just for joining! Keep in mind studies have concluded that reading as a leisure activity, is one of the most powerful tools available to improve reading comprehension, speed and vocabulary.
Read your way to prizes and surprises - beginning with the first day of sign up on Monday, June 2. If you read only three books, you will receive a prize from the Treasure Chest. If you read six books, you will be invited to the Grand Finale Celebration, on Tuesday, August 12 at 2:00 P.M. Read books galore and you’ll win more and more.
