FIVE CENTURIES OF GREAT DUETS

with Musicians Kathryn Wieckhorst, Helene Williams and Leonard Lehrman

Date: Thursday, May 8
Time: 2:00 P.M.

Rising star Kathryn Wieckhorst, soprano, will join Helene Williams, soprano, and Leonard Lehrman, pianist and composer (both formerly with the Metropolitan Opera) in a program of grand duets reaching across five centuries. Enjoy some of the most beautiful vocal music ever written from Purcell in the 17th Century, to Mozart in the 18th Century, to Mendelssohn,
Brahms, and Puccini in the 19th Century and Prokofiev and Bernstein in the 20th. Hear arias in many languages as the two stunning female voices explore complex human relationships with drama and passion. Included will be excerpts from Mozart operas, Madama Butterfly, Der RosenKavalier, West Side Story and more. A compelling mixture of well-known and some
lesser known classics of the concert and stage repertoire for two gorgeous female voices.
