with Martha Kolodkin
Part I – Monday, May 5
Part II – Thursday, June 12
Both programs will begin at 2:00 P.M.
Behind every man, there is a woman. In the case of our American Presidents, this maxim is
especially true, but the woman is not necessarily his wife. From the domineering interference of Sara Delano Roosevelt to the humanitarian ideals of Lillian Carter, this program will give you a glimpse of the relationships and influences these women had in shaping the personalities of the American Presidents.
Come hear Martha Kolodkin, an American history educator of thirty-two years, as she takes you
through the lives and personalities of the mothers who raised these extraordinary sons. Admission is free and everyone is invited to attend.
