Donna (Streep), an independent , single mother who owns a small hotel on an idyllic Greek Island, is about marry off her daughter, Sophie (Seyfried). Besides inviting Donna’s two best friends from her past, Sophie has secretly invited three guests of her own--three men from Donna’s past—in the hopes of finding out the identity of her father. Over 24 chaotic, magical hours, new love will bloom and old romances will be rekindled on this lush, beautiful island. This is an entertaining musical/performing arts adaptation of a long-running Broadway show.
