FINDING YOUR BEST PARENTING STYLE

The Freeport Memorial Library, located at 144 W. Merrick Road in Freeport, is inviting all Nassau County residents to join their Job Club, led by Career Counselor Barbara Spinelli.

The club offers members the opportunity to support, share information, and network with other career seekers. Each meeting will focus on a specific topic that relates to job searching and/or career advancement.
The club will meet on Saturdays January 8 & 22 and February 5 & 19 from
10 to 11:30 a.m at the Freeport Memorial Library (a handicap assessable facility).

The New York State Assembly has recently passed the Dignity for All Students Act. The act prohibits harassment against school age students based on their race, color, weight, national origin, religion, disability, sexual orientation, gender or sex. This law requires schools to adopt policies to make school harassment free environments, to inform students and parents of these policies, to develop guidelines for training programs for school employees.
