The New GI Bill will go into effect August 1st and includes added benefits for any Vets who served after 9/11.

Enhancements to the bill include:

Monthly housing allowance
Books and supplies stipend to assist with the high costs of school
A program which allows more expensive schools to enter an agreement with the VA to assist with covering remaining tuition costs.

Eligible veterans should apply for this benefit immediately. Apply at: http://vabenefits/vba.va.gov/vonapp/main.asp
