Afternoons at the Opera

Opera demystified! La Traviata and Rigoletto come alive as Bernie Mann, opera enthusiast since age 14, discusses Verdi's genius and explains story lines. The presentation includes translations of excerpts that are viewed on DVD.

The 10 Worst Ways To Break Up With Someone Contest

What would be worse than telling someone "It's not you, it's me". If you know a more heartbreaking and gut wrenching way of breaking up with someone then enter the "Worst Breakup Contest". To enter you must be at least in 6th grade. Click on this post's title (the 10 worst ways to break up with someone) and click on comments to post a horrible breakup, or come into the library and submit your entry into the heart shaped box. The top three entries will receive prizes. The top ten entries will be posted on the "Lounge" bulletin board and blog.
