The library subscibes to this fabulous service called tutor.com. You can connect with real live tutors who can help you with your homework. You can access this service either from home or at the library. It's available everyday from 3-9 pm. Try it out!

Any Soldier Program:Teen Advisory Group Special Project
HELP WANTED!!!
You are invited to gather items for the soldiers and the little kids in the war zone.
Friends of the Merrick Library have offered to pay the mailing cost of 5 packages and our teens have volunteered to organize the packages.
These letters and packages will be sent to Lance Corporal Frank Acciarito for distribution to Marines in the field as well as Iraqi children.

Donations may include
(but are not limited to):
new or slightly used Beanie babies, DVDs, CDs, small games, paper back books, crossword puzzles. Power bars,
flavored powder for
water, athletic socks.
Also, you can donate letters to soldiers, which are greatly appreciated.
The donation box is located in the Library lobby.
