Summer Reading Club: Registration in progress.
This week you have a chance to win FOUR tickets for Tony Hawk's Boom Boom Huck Jam Show (Nassau veterans memorial Coliseum on Thursday, August 7 at 6:00pm.)
COME JOIN THE MERRICK LIBRARY TEEN SUMMER READING CLUB
Who: Open to Merrick Library patrons in grades 7-12
What: The idea is that you read books (that you choose) and get prizes.
There will be weekly raffles and a big party at the end of the summer (August 21).
When: Registration begins at the Merrick Library Reference Desk on June 1st, with programs and raffles throughout the summer.
Summer reading Club Rules:
Reviews can be given in each week in person or online, with a raffle drawing every Friday.
The more reviews you submit the more chances you have to win the weekly raffle.
At the end of the summer everyone who has submitted at least one review will get a ticket for a Big Raffle.

Chill out with Chef Lee Perrotta while we spin creamy cold ice creams and sorbets from scratch. Recipes and tastings include watermelon sorbet with chocolate chip pits, chocolate ganache ice cream and more!

Beach Bag Book Club

Jen Calonita, author of the book “Secrets of My Hollywood life” is coming to present her third book “Secrets of My Hollywood Life: Family Affairs”.
Jen is our favorite teen writer and has a dedicated group of fans in our library.
Please join us for a fun book discussion, snack and lottery.
There will be copies of Jen’s new book available for purchase and author signing at the event.
