When will the fifth Percy Jackson and the Olympians come out? What will it be called, and what is the plot?

Will Poseidon take a major part in the battle against Kronus... If the Big 3 came together to fight Kronus that would be awesome.

if you make a fifth book do you think somebody in the series wil die??? and after you finish the series will you make something like the percy jackson series because before you made those books i was totally not a reader but once i heard of youre bok the lightning thief i had to read it and ever since ive been a totall reader.

It would be great if Nico joined Cronos. Then, there will be a huge out war and both sides would have a child of the big three. And yeah what is the fifth book called and when is it coming out.

HA! i can't wait for the 4th and 5th book to come out and im sad thats its only a 5 book series! :( i hope Mr. Riordan does more books like this. i wonder what happened to Bianca! i hope she comes back or they at least talk abou her in the later books.....

I can't wait til book 4 comes out. Book 2 and 3 are my favorite books. I hope book 4 is better. I hope that Mr. Riodan makes 6 instead of 5 because this series is so good. After what happened in book 3, I really want to read the 4th to see what Nico does. Percy Jackson and the Olympians is my favorite book series. The Battle of the Labyrinth, book four, will probably be my favorite. I hope Percy battles Kronos! That would be cool! Guys, the 4th book is amazing. Lets just say i have conections. I just finished the Battle of the Labyrinth today.
Annabeth gets a quest to go into a labyrinth built by Daedalus that lies underground. This labyrinth is how kronos's army is planning on getting into camp half blood. At the camp, there is some guy named quintus who is actually daedalus. meanwhile, annabeth decides to bring percy, tyson and grover to go with her. In the labyrinth, they come up to some farm place where they find Nico di Angelo, the son of hades. At the farm, percy finds he has the power to manipulate water even when he isnt near a water source. He uses this power to empty 4 feet of poop out of a horses stable for a monster who threatens to kill his friends and Nico. percy kills the monster. now to the good stuff. Annabeth and percy split up from tyso and grover after leaving nico at the farm. Grover and tyson think they have a way to Pan. After annabeth and percy talk to Hera, hephaseutus's wife and some other guy, they find out that hephaseutus can help them find daedalus so that luke wont persuade him to help them navigate his labyrinth. Weel heph says they have to go to mount saint helens for something and percy and annabeth kiss. percy releases water on the lava after annabeth left and the volcano explodes sending percy to an island called ogygia where he meets a young lady named calypso.they fall in love but percy has to get back to annabeth. When reunited, they follow the tracks of tyson and grover to a riverside right in front of a great entrance in a cave. When they enter, they find Pan who's essence had been fading. Pan gives a speech and passes a power to grover. Then, Pan dies. A bit further along in the Labyrinth, they find where Kronos is being put back together. Somehow, kronos took over luke and is using him as his body. Kronos awakens as percy is there and percy just barely escapes. They continue and find daedalus's workshop in the heart of the labyrinth. Kronos's army invades but all the members of the quest escape, along with Daedalus. They return to camp. At camp a battle is fought. when it seems all hope is lost for the camp, grover uses Pans power and screams a cry that scared away the army. The Camp wins. Daedlus sacrifices his life so the labyrinth fails so kronos cant ever invade the camp again

When percy returns home, he is turning fifteen. His moms Boyfriend, Paul Blofis, approaches percy and asks for permission to propose. percy says yes. Later on, they get a suprise visit from poseiden. After he leaves, a suprise visit from Nico who says he know how to truely defeat kronos. The end.

I hope you like my detailed reenactment of the Battle of the Labyrinth. Now you dont have to read it.

these books are absolutely great i love them when does the fifth one come out although i havent read the 4 one yet. But i twould not be cool if Nico joined lukes army with that power and how much he knows, and he is still young if the prophesy is about percy then he will still have two years to train. when he unleashes that power im sure it will be much greater than percy or thalias power, and even worse if the prophesy is about him he will have like 7 years to train. But anyway i cant wait for the next book to come out. These books remind me about world of warcraft i dont know if any of yall play it But its awsome to.

Whoever said that Nancy Bobofit is coming back, I was thinking the same thing, because on youtube when Rick Riordan is reading a small part of the first chapter, it says somehing about a red haired girl he sees. I think that that is Nancy because he abviously doesn't want to bump into her. Also it says on Wikipedia that he bumps into a mortal he once knew. It also says that there will be a new character named Rachel, so it might be her.

Oh yeah! one more thing. I just realized this, the red haired girl might be the girl in the 3rd book who can see through the mist. If I remember correctly, in she's described as a red haired girl too.

i dont know calvin but whoever said that a girl rachel is i the next book is right. I read the book already and calvins reenactment is perfect. Also, rachel is the same red headed girl in the 3rd book that can see through the mist. percy uses rachel to navigate the labyrinth. every one read calvins entry 10 up from mine. its great

i absolutely love this series. honestly, it teaches so much about the greek myths yet is still excruciatingly suspenseful and funny. once i finish this, i won't be able to wait for the last installment.

I just finished the Battle of the Labyrinth and it was the best ever!!! Why are there only five books in the series??!! I barely read anything at all before these books but when my friend introduced them to me I was hooked!! Now I don't know what I'll do for books though. I loved the Greek and magical things.I soo hope that Annabeth and Percy start dating in the fifth book.

i know plenty about greek mythology, caelyn. i agree that most of these people don't with their comments of "OMG I WANT ANNABETH AND PERCY TO GET TOGETHER"
that's not what the books are really about.

book 4 was somewhat disappointing. boring, even, with little character development. i feel as if percy still acts as if he's in 6th grade and the writing is week. and the way the mythology was integrated into the book wasn't as intriguing as the last books.

book 3 was definitely the most suspenseful, i say

can you write the 5th book kind of fast and make it really really long because i got the 4th book the day it came out and read it in only 2 days! thats like a record for me because i read really really really slow but this was different. i never ever ever ever want the series to end!!

Omg, i loved the 4th book. once i was done, i read it out loud 2 my sister. And she's 11 years old. Not that she can't read, but she loves the siereis as much as i do, and i've read them all to her. i am so hooked on these books, the 4th one actually made me cry. Can't wait for book 5, and i think every book is better thatn the one before it, even though the 3rd one and thte 4th one are almsot tied, cause i really liked the hunters. i heard they're making the lighting thief into a movie. i hope its as good as the books.

OMG i love these books!!! Rick Riordan should totally write like seven books. five isn't enuff but like ten is too many. I love the Hunters. i've always loved reading, but these books are my absoulute favorite books ever!!!

Just got done reading the 4th cant wait for the 5th sad the series has to end. I agree with Rebecca I got the book and i finished it like right away. I'm not so sure about hi writing it super fast though. I mean ya i want it o come out soon but it should still be really good. Plus it's the last book and he should take his time and make sure he's writing the best book EVA.

These books are the only books i can really get into! I love this series and I'm soooo disapointed that there will be only 1 more book coming out! Maybe Rick will start to write a whole new series! that would be GREAT!

OMG!!! book 4 is GREATER THAN GREAT!!! i seriously hope that percy and annabeth make up!!! also, i hope percy gets to see calypso again because it would add a MAJOR twist to the story if percy had to choose between annabeth, calypso, and maybe even R.E.D.!!! it would be SO great if luke died because he is a BACKSTABBING TRAITOR!!! he SO DOESN'T deserve annabeth's love and, in my opinion, she would be better of loving a WALL. that's how much I hate luke.PERCABETH FOREVER!!! it says on sum webstites that the 5th book is called the Lost Chariot r watever, but thats a short story written between the 2 and 3rd books, so it's a bit confusing, but i am almost posittive the 5th boook isnt thte Stolen Chariot. 5th book will be out tho, in spring of 09.

It sucks that its going to be a year until the next book comes out, also it sucks that its the last book because this is a great series that should have like, 7 or 8 books. Oh well though, all i can do is hope book 5 is really long and great.

OMG, i just found out that there's gonna be a Percy Jackson Lihtning Thief movie! it'll cum out in 09 and its directed by Chris Columbus, who did the first Harry Potter movie! i think AnnaSophia robb would be great for Annabeth, and Josh Hutcherson would be good for Percy, but they were in Bridge to Terebithia together, so that mite mess thing up, but i cant think of anyone else to be Percy, or Annabeth. Any ideas?

OMG i totally loved theese books!!! but i hate that a lot of people just talk about Annabeth and Percy being a couple and stuff like that. thats nt even the point of the whole story. i mean, i like a romance book as much as the next girl, but theese books arent all about that. they're cute together and junk, but you know, the books are about Percy's adventures, so that obsession with Pery and Annabeth being "boyfriend and girlfriend" kinda gets on my nerves.

It only took me about a week to read books 1-3. these books are the best he should total make more than five books and then make them in to movies because alot more people would read the books.

Awesome series! I read every book about 20 times! Its a real shame that the 5th book is the last. It would be cool if Percy and Annabeth end up going out in the 5th book even though their parents r rivals. They'd make a good couple.
