Caffeine

My name is Michele and I'm a Starbucks fanatic. I readily admit to loving coffee -- unsweetened, often black, and except for my first morning cups, I prefer it iced and decaffeinated. I don't like water and I'm not a big soda fan, so sometimes the only liquid I'm ingesting all day is coffee. Healthy? Not so much, but it's not going to kill me either. Right? Well, I came across a site today that tells me exactly how many cups it will take to kill me. It's a little scary, but I'm pretty sure I won't go over 100 cups per day! I know that many teens enjoy drinking coffee, coffee flavored drinks and soda. You can select your favorite "poison" at Energy Fiend to see how much of that beverage it will take to actually kill you. The site also lists the amount of caffeine in various drinks -- scroll down to see the amount of caffeine in chocolate!

We all know that the best way to stay healthy is to eat right, drink lots of water, exercise regularly and get enough sleep... but an iced coffee tastes so much better!
