Music, fingerplays, toys & simple stories will help develop early literacy skills. There will be plenty of giggles & wiggles for everyone. Note: A parent or caregiver must accompany the child to each class. Child must be 12 months by December 1. Offered 5 times per year.

Little Sprouts

Toys, books and fun await little ones. Parent or caregiver must accompany the child at each session. Child must be 18 months by December 1. Offered 5 times per year.

Toddler Storytime

Books, fingerplays, and songs with a parent or caregiver. Our goal is to provide a pleasant introductory storytime experience. Each series runs for 4 weeks and you can sign up for one series. Child must be 2 years old by September 1, 2008 for Series I or 2 years old by October 1, 2008 for Series II. Offered 2 times per year; fall and early spring.

Fridays, 11:00-11:30am or 2:00-2:30pm

Series I: September 12, 19, 26, and October 3
Series II: October 17, 24, 31, and November 7

Pre-K Storytime

Pajama Storytime

A program designed especially to meet the needs of working parents. Music, fingerplays, and stories. Wear your pajamas! Child must be 3 ½ years old by October 1. Offered 3 times per year; fall, winter/early spring, and summer.

Runs for 5 weeks: October 15, 22, 29, November 5, 12

K-Carousel

A potpourri of stories, crafts, and films. Offered 2 times per year; fall and winter/early spring.

Mondays, Wednesdays or Thursdays 4 pm

Each session runs for 5 weeks:

Wednesdays: October 15, 22, 29, November 5, and 12

Sack Full of Surprises (.pdf)

October is Adopt-A-Shelter Dog Month. It is also National Cookie Month and the Month of the Dinosaur. Join us for stories about family, pets, favorite treats, and the dinosaurs of long ago. Offered once per month; Oct, Nov, Dec and March, April, May.

Parent/Child Book Discussion

Join us as we discuss Lunch Money by Andrew Clements. Greg Kenton has always
had a talent for making money. His latest scheme, creating and selling miniature
comic books, looks to be a success. He realizes that he has been sitting on a gold
mine all along -- school.  This is a Building Bridges program presented by Friends
of Bryant Library.

Each year we invite children to decorate their pumpkins! Children in regularly scheduled story times will decorate pumpkins with their class. BRING YOUR OWN PUMPKIN!
