Bryant
Library has a vital, interactive relationship with the residents
of Roslyn and the library community as a whole. Experience indicates
that Bryant
Library patrons have interests in common with people everywhere
and interests unique to their experience and their community.
The
Reference Desk at Bryant Library answers hundreds of questions
every month, covering a range of subject areas including health
and medicine, consumerism, business, academics and more. In order
to help our patrons more readily meet their information needs,
the Reference Department has supplemented its' in-house collection
of books, periodicals and electronic databases by compiling a
reference resource of valuable, accurate, and current Internet
sites. These sites are information sources that are available
to our patrons remotely, from computers at home, at school or
at work. The sites offered here are organized by subject matter
in categories selected to address the information needs of our
library community.
Just
click on one of the categories on the left and see a list of related
Internet sites. Then, click on a particular site and search for
the information you seek. These sites have been chosen for their
ease of use, as well as their authority. Most simply require a
single click to accomplish your information goals.
Remember
to check our comprehensive collection
of electronic databases!
