About.com--> You will find About.com to be a wonderful resource.  Experts in every field have scoured the net to organize it into useful segments.

Altavista --> Altavista is a large search engine.  It is especially useful for finding images or photographs.

Askjeeves-->  If you have a specific question, don't hesitate to ask the butler!  Enter your question using the actual phrase, in other words, just the way you would ask it.

Google -->  Google is my search engine of choice - clean interface, easy to use, I always "Google" it first!

Hotbot-->  An alternative search engine.

KidsClick!-->  General search site, arranged by subject.

Yahooligans-->  Yahooligans is a kid friendly version of Yahoo.  It is a fine directory to use for a general search.

General homework sites
B.J.Pinchbecks Homework Helper -->  Designed by a young student and his father, this is probably the most complete homework helper site around.

Homework Tips --> Even your most hated subject can be a breeze with these links and tips.

Infotrac Kids and Junior Editions  -->  Search for newspaper and magazine articles.  This service is especially designed for students.
