Nassau County Museum of Art

Nassau County purchased the Henry Clayton Frick Estate in 1969 and in 1989 opened the Nassau County Museum of Art, whose mission is to bring to Long Island important exhibitions of artists known both internationally and locally. The Museum also promotes art education and art enjoyment through its active and varied programming.
