I just finished reading a book about competing packs of lycanthropes in modern L.A. I thought it was a highly entertaining thiller and it has a explosive ending. The author's concept of werewolves is an interesting one and he likes to blur the line between wolf and dog. Since the full moon is coming I figured this would be a fitting read.

Get ready, The Mighty Thor is going to be on the silver screen. The movie is directed by Kenneth Branagh...I suspect a shakespearean treatment.

I just saw Red Riding Hood at the movies.... 90% of the movie was pretty good but the ending was yuck! : P The ending was weak and that is why I think the movie is not doing so well at the box office. The writers made the ending very safe....oh well so close yet so far away...

A new Morgan, a new King Arthur and a new Merlin.....but will there be any magic?

everybody is talking about this book....my cousin told she cried when she read it.. so i decided to pick it up....it is very similiar to the japanese movie Battle Royale...it has an incredible science fiction back drop including animal/human mutations and super technology. I guess i read the other two books inthe series.

So true believers, because of curiosity's sake I saw the movie, Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief. I thought it was great despite some mixed reviews. (its for the young at heart and people who love mythology) The visuals were fanatastic, it made me want to dive into the world. Oh how cool it would be to be the son of Morpheus...or Selene...or the list can go on forever...The movie wasn't perfect because it had some flaws but I'm not Roger or Ebert (thank goodness) and the best part.....I want to read the book series!!!

At Blizz Con it was announced that Blizzard Entertainment is going to release two new games and a new expansion set for World of Warcraft. The two new games are Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3. The expansion set is World of Warcraft: Cataclysm. This expansion set is going to have shattering changes to Azeroth.

Megan Fox star of the Transformers is in a new film called Jennifer's Body. There is also going to be a comic based on the film....Synopsis: The perfect cheerleader gets posessed and starts feeding on boys one by one. The film is a horror/comedy. Diablo Cody the writer of Juno also penned this script.

This is the new decepticon! These robots in disguise have powers to transform into whatever....why didn't the decepticons win???? Oh well so much for the story in the new movie.

They're back for revenge. The transformers second movie is coming soon...Maybe this will be the it movie of the summer. The coming attractions look great but that doesn't mean that it will be good.

The new animated movie is pretty good. It is an introduction to the super heroine Wonder Woman for those who don't know anything about her. The best scene unfortunately is the last scene of the movie and she clobbers the cheetah. Will there be a live action movie?

The new terminator movie is out......news is that the movie is terrible. The advice that i am getting is not to go waste my time and see it...well that's unfortunate. what a bummer!

I'm still reading the Mercy Thompson Series and I think I might buy a t-shirt. One of the most interesting parts in the series is the universe where the story takes place. Supernatural creatures have come out into the public eye in the United States. The backdrop is how the public is reacting to the new neighbors. Of course there is more to talk about.....but you'll have to the read the book to find out.

Finally last saturday I saw the new Star Trek Film @ an IMAX theater........it is an alternate reality star trek universe and despite this plot device to explain the difference the film is not bad and has out done some of the other star trek films. By the way Spock rules!

Here's the deal....if you're a fan boy then its a great movie but if not, dont bother to go to the movie theater wait for the dvd. The movie is too long and feels dated because it takes place in the eighties. Overall a good adaptation of the graphic novel but not a date movie!

A new animated film has just be released direct to dvd starring Keri Russel as Wonder Woman.
Does this mean we are going to see a live action film with Wonder Woman in 2011....One can only hope.

This movie is based on the the graphic novel. Did I mention before that it is the only graphic novel to be included in the All-TIME 100 Novels list? Nuff said!

The latest installment of the Lila Black series. A great blend of science fiction and fantasy. In this novel the cyborg Lila Black is trying to resurrect her lover Zal the rock star elf and she now has a magic sword that is taking on the form of a pen.

This fantasy/horror film was a delight! You have to see it to believe it! Normally I wouldn't recommend this film because its for the kiddies but the witch and the cool black cat made me fall in love with this film. See it in 3-D because it is soo much better. The film is based on the horror/fantasy book Coraline by Neil Gaiman.

Watchmen is a graphic novel by Alan Moore. Former crime-fighters are drawn back into action by the murder of a former teammate, which turns out to be the leading edge of a much wider, more disturbing conspiracy. The movie of Watchmen is coming out March 6, 2009.
