The next Library board meeting will take place on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at 6:30 pm. 

Hours:

Monday           10 am - 9 pm
Tuesday           10 am - 9 pm
Wednesday       10 am - 5 pm
Thursday          10 am - 9 pm
Friday              10 am - 5 pm
Saturday*         10 am - 5 pm
Sunday            Closed

*10 am - 2pm from June 23 - August 25
 
Directions:

Take SO. STATE PKWAY to EXIT 19S. 

Proceed SOUTH on PENINSULA BLVD to OCEAN AVE . 

Turn LEFT onto OCEAN AVE and proceed 2 traffic lights to SUNRISE HWY. 

Turn RIGHT onto SUNRISE HWY and proceed to ATLANTIC AVE. 

Turn SOUTH onto ATLANTIC AVE and proceed about 1/2 mile to number 477. 

The library is on the right side of ATLANTIC AVE

How Do I Get A Library Card?

It only takes a few minutes.  If you live in the village of East Rockaway or the Bay Park Library Funding  District you just have to show picture ID and proof of residence.  Acceptable forms of proof include:

  • Driver’s license or non-driver’s ID with your current address or picture ID.
  • Utility bill, lease or tax bill. 
Parents can provide their ID in order to obtain a card for their children.
Circulation Policy:

Patrons may check out a total of:
  • 12 DVDs
  • 12 Music CDs
  • 3 - $1 a day DVDs
Patrons may have up to 100 items checked out at any given time, and up to 50 items on hold.  Items may be renewed 2 times.
