KidsClick! was created by a group of librarians at the Ramapo Catskill Library System, as a logical step in addressing concerns about the role of public libraries in guiding their young users to valuable and age appropriate web sites.  This site provides links to various websites categorized by subject, briefly described and classified by reading level. All ths sites are handpicked by librarians, so information can be trusted!

  Microsoft Encarta (Homework) is aimed at late-elementary and middle school kids. The Parents section, with grade-by-grade milestones and learning related articles.

   Ask Jeeves for Kids
takes real questions and gives you a list of specially selected sites. Offers study tools, such as a dictionary, thesaurus, almanac, biography and atlas.

  Jiskha Homework Help
provides subject and age-specific homework help. Allows for search in virtually all topics from health to math.

HomeworkSpot
subjects are organized by grade first, then topic, so that kids can more easily find information suited to their reading level. Also provides test-taking and studying tips and a gateway to specialized libraries, such as presidential, national and state libraries.

Discoveryschool 
easy-to-use site with resources for students, parents, and teachers. Includes subject-specific articles and links, free clip art, daily brainteasers, a dictionary, etc.

Historyplace
offers historical photos and speeches, day-by-day events, movie reviews, biographies, links, and more.

History channel
yields entries in categories such as Crime History, Old West History, and Cold War History.
