Teen Programs in September
ALL WORKSHOPS ARE FOR TEENS GRADES 7-12
For all teens programs and activities:
- Register in person at the YA Desk or by phone
- To register for a program, please have your Elmont Public Library card handy
- Registration for each program begins 3-4 weeks before the program’s date
- Priority is given to Elmont residents and cardholders
- No fees
SEPTEMBER
Tuesday, September 8, 6:00 – 7:30pm
BACK TO SCHOOL PEDICURE
Get together with your friends and have fun learning how to pedicure, decorate and care for your feet. You will receive a brand new pedicure kit that will include: a foot basin, emery board, pumice block, orangewood stick, nail polish and nail decoration (rhinestones and decals!).

TEEN ADVISORY GROUP MEETING
Interested in making a difference at the library? Would you like to help select the types of workshops and programs for teens that we offer? How about helping with the selection of books, music and other materials for teens? If so, drop by and register (if you didn’t already) for our Teen Advisory Group. Help make a difference and let your voice be heard. Great for community service!

DIY LOCKER MIRROR
Add some pizzazz to your school locker by decorating a magnetic mirror with puzzle pieces, charms, small toys, gems and glitter. If you wish, personalize the mirror with your name or some other cool design.

TEEN BOOK CLUB w/ KELLY
Join our Teen Book Club. The group will meet once a month (usually the last Wednesday of a month). Refreshments will be provided.
The first book will be available at time of registration.
