For all teens programs and activities:

• Register in person at the YA Desk or by phone
• To register for a program, please have your Elmont Public Library card handy
• Registration for each program begins 3-4 weeks before the program’s date
• Priority is given to Elmont residents and cardholders

This interactive workshop will replace your anxiety with confidence as you get the concrete tools you need to write that uniquely compelling and persuasive college essay.

SAT PRACTICE TEST
Administered by Kaplan.
Get experience with the sample test without the pressure.

Tuesday, November 10, 6:30pm
SAT REVIEW SESSION AND TEST SECRETS SEMINAR
Administered by Kaplan
Evaluate the results of the test and learn strategies necessary for success.

EVERYTHING YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THE COLLEGE APPLICATION AND ADMISSION PROCESS
Get the critical info on applying to college as well as important insight into the college admissions process.

A step-by-step workshop addressing: student aid sources, FAFSA forms, eligibility for grants and loans, NY State aid, filling for financial aid, and best web sites to search for scholarships.
