Drawing Manga

Do you like manga? Want to learn how to draw manga characters? Then come to this workshop where professional artist Derek Mainhardt will teach you how to draw manga or help you brush up on your manga drawing skills. For students in grades 5 and 6. A nonrefundable materials fee of $1 is due at time of registration.

Wok ‘n Roll

Join us as we explore the flavors of Asian cuisine. Try your hand at chopsticks as we create and enjoy a classic stir fry. Then sit back and enjoy vegetable spring rolls as we discuss the utensils used by different cultures. For students in grades 5 and 6. Winter Wonderland Milk
Chocolate Snowman!

Design your own winter wonderland snowman using white chocolate, cookies, pretzels, popcorn, and other yummy edibles. This program is for children in preK and Kindergarten. A nonrefundable materials fee of $1 is due at time of registration.

Dandy Candy!

The Perfect Snowflakes

College Essay Workshop

Are you nervous about applying to college and having to write an essay? College professor Peter O’Neill will be conducting this workshop on writing college application essays. Come prepared with your essay and receive feedback and tips.

How to Beat the High Cost of College
presented by Barry Fox, College Financial Aid Consulting
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 17, 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Find out how to get your share of the billions of dollars in grants and loans that are available to college students. Learn about programs for which you might qualify, how much aid you might receive, and how to get started. How to fill out the FAFSA form, plan a needs analysis, and how to negotiate with financial aid officers will also be discussed.
