Pretty Little Liars

pretty%20little%20liars.jpg
It was the summer before seventh grade when Alison disappeared. Alison was best friends with Spencer, Aria, Emily, and Hanna and she knew things about each of them that no one else knew. After Alison's disappearance the girls grew apart, each trying to find her own identity. Fast forward to their junior year of high school. The girls all led separate live's and everyone assumed Alison was dead. That is until they each start receiving creepy text messages from "A". Who is "A" and how does she know all of their deep secrets? Is "A" Alison and if so does that mean she isn't dead? Who else could know about the secrets the girls have worked so hard to bury?

Harmless by Dana Reinhardt

harmless.jpg
Best friends Emma, Anna, and Mariah lied to their parents. Instead of going to the movies like they said they were, they went to a party that included boys and alcohol. Things were going great until Emma gets a phone call, her parents went to the movie and did not see them anywhere; she wants to know where they are. The girl’s panic, afraid of how angry their parents will be when they find out the girls were really at a party. To escape punishment the girls come up with a harmless story, or so they thought. Before they know it the whole community has become involved and the girls find themselves lost in their web of lies.

Josie, Nicolette, and Aviva are not friends but have one thing in common. They all dated T.L. and were hurt by him. Josie was the first to date him and he whisked her off her feet and she began to fall in love with him. Josie was sharing new experiences with him but there was one experience she wouldn't share with him. Because of this T.L. broke up with her and moved on to the next girl. Josie was hurt but decided to share her story with other girls by writing it in the back of the schools copy of Forever by Judy Blume. Unfortunately Nicolette and Aviva don't get to read it in time and fall for the bad boy they all thought was good.

The Plan

What's wrong with boys
like him, anyway?
I mean, he really meant something to me,
but to him
I was just
a girl to "nail."
So disgusting.
It makes me want to shake him, shake some sense into
him, hurt him somehow, give him a glimpse of how
totally humiliated and used he made me feel,
penetrate that smug attitude.

That's when it hits me.
I really should do something,
warn the others,
so the next girl isn't such an unsuspecting sap.

And I know exactly how.
My weapon of choice:
Forever.

Every girl reads it eventually.
In high school,
or earlier, like me, if they're lucky enough
to hear about it
and there's a copy to nab.

Now every girl,
at least in my school,
will read about
him
at the same time.

Forewarned,
Forearmed.
Forever.
