Janine is in highschool and one day she decides to cut class and go to the beach with a boy that she likes. On their way to the beach they are in a terrible car accident. Janine actually dies for a couple of minutes while in the emergency room, but luckily they are able to bring her back. Unfortunately, Janine has changed. She used to have a twin sister, Lenore, who died when the girls were 4 years old and now it seems that Lenore has returned and is trying to take over Janine's body. Janine is scared, she can hear Lenore talking to her although no one else can and she doesn't know who to turn to. One day as she's lying in her hospital bed and her father is visiting, she decdes to ask him about Lenore. Janine tells her father that she can't remember about a trip that they had taken to see their grandparents. It was on this trip in which Lenore had died. But when she says this, Lenore responds, "Yes you can, that's when you took my life".
Although Janine doesn't remember exactly what happened, she begins to remember little by little. What really happened on the day Lenore died? Was Janine really responsible?

Wicked: A Pretty Little Liars Novel

Aria, Spencer, Emily, and Hanna are back and all their troubles are finally over; or so they thought. Ian, Ali's alleged killer has been arrested and is waiting for his trial to begin. Now that Ian's been arrested the girls are anxious to move on with their lives. Emily who last semester was dating girls has now started dating a boy, Spencer finds out that her parents may not be her birth parents, Aria kisses her mom's new boyfriend, and Hanna can't tell if her stepsister Kate is her friend or enemy. To add to their issues the girls have started receiving texts from "A" again. The girls just know it has to be Ian, who happens to be out on house arrest. But when Ian turns up dead and the texts keep coming, the girls realize that the real "A" is still out there and she's ready to get revenge.
