Children must be three years of age by

REGISTRATION for Toddler and Preschool Story Times begins Tuesday, January 9 at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.  Please bring proof of birthdate and your Hewlett-Woodmere Public Library card to registration.

Come together @ Your Library
 
Create your own bookmark for National Library Week 2007 with our separate grades K-2 and 3-5 contests. Pick up your entry blank starting Tuesday, January 2, 2007 continuing through the month. The contest closes Wednesday, January 31.
 
The bold and colorful bookmark you design will help us celebrate National Library Week (April 15 - 21, 2007).  All winning entries will be displayed on the Hewlett–Woodmere Public Library Home Page during the month of April.  Look under Kids Sites.
 
Winners will be announced in the next Overleaf Jr.

Origami specialist MaryAnn Scheblein-Dawson returns to our library with another fun workshop.  You will learn the history of origami while creating colorful objects folded from a single sheet of paper.
