Join us for a special visit from a Long Island author whose work depicts the history of Long Island through a beech tree.  While narrating her book during a slide presentation, Madelyn Edelson will imaginatively explore the concept of folk tales.

  Expand beyond Cat’s Cradle in this hands-on string game workshop. You will easily create both simple and intricate string figures in this traditional activity. Just bring your fingers to learn new tricks and to form impressive designs that will amuse you in your spare time.

Chris Bryant uses improvisation to combine mime, clowning, juggling, magic, puppetry, and music into a playful, audience-interactive entertaining performance.

Here’s your chance to catch up on the previous films before the new movie release on November 18. Join us at the library for 3 weeks in November to see a different Harry Potter movie.
