 RESERVE AND RENEW ONLINE


Green square  Go to http://www.alisweb.org or click on   CATALOG/PLACE RESERVES

Green square Click on  MY ACCOUNT  on Left side & Type in :

  • *Your Name EXACTLY as it appears on your library card.
  • *Library Barcode, located on the back of  your library card.
  • *ANY 4 NUMBERS for your PIN number
The first time you go into MY ACCOUNT, you will be asked to create your own Personal Identification number (PIN).  You will be asked to re-enter the PIN  to confirm it.

Green square You will see your name, address & telephone number.  If you need to correct your telephone number,  click on  (Modify Personal Information)

Green square You will also see any Requests (holds) outstanding & Items currently checked out.

 Click on Requests (holds) outstanding.  You will see titles you have requested.  If a title is incorrect or you have read it already, you may cancel the request by clicking on

(CANCEL ALL)    OR     (CANCEL SELECTED ITEMS)   


Green square To see items that you have checked out, click on Items currently checked out.   Here you can

(SORT BY DUE DATE)     &     (RENEW ALL)      OR  RENEW SELECTED ITEMS. 


Green square To RENEW SELECTED ITEMS, click on the white box to the left of the item that you want to renew.  Then click on RENEW SELECTED ITEMS.


You may receive messages in red that say: TOO MANY RENEWALS  OR   RENEWAL NOT ALLOWED. 


Overdue items will NOT be renewed.



Green square To RESERVE an item , click  SEARCH THE CATALOG in the upper right corner.  

Type in a KEYWORD, AUTHOR, TITLE or other search term & click on ENTER/RETURN.  Locate the item you want.

Click on  Hold this item

Enter your name, library card number and PIN


Then click  

Green square The reserve will either be SUCCESSFUL or the screen will say: 

There is a problem with your library record. Please see a librarian.

Reserves will not be placed if your card has expired or if there are overdue books or fines.

 If you see this message please visit or call the Library at 374-1967
.


Green square (Log Out) to end your session.
