Hicksville Library Board Decides to Sell the Computer Resource Center After months of serious consideration, the Library Board has unanimously decided that it is in the best interest of taxpayers of the Hicksville School District to sell the CRC building. A survey was sent to every taxpayer in the district, and the majority of the responses which were sent back have been to sell the CRC and to renovate and/or expand the main library at 169 Jerusalem Ave. The Board is keenly aware that the community needs computers and plans will be formulated to create a larger computer area in the main library. As always, the public is invited to attend monthly library board meetings which are held on the third Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the main library. January 2009 CRC Letter |
