
Defensive Driving Course for Licensed Drivers 18 and Over
Registration for the Empire Safety Council's six hour course is in
person at the Reference Desk.
Preference given to Levittown UFSD residents until one week before
the scheduled course date.
When registering, please submit check or money order for $30.00 per
person (non-refundable),
payable to instructor, Phil Tirino. Ask at the Reference Desk for class
dates.
Homebound Service
Delivery of library material to the homebound.
Home Hospice Patients
Delivery and pick-up service directly to the home of hospice patients.
Deliveries will be made
between 2PM - 4PM. Call 516 731-5728 and ask for Rus Greller
to schedule a delivery/pickup.
Materials that may interest you: dvds, videos, large type books and
magazines.
Income Tax Assistance
Free AARP Income Tax assistance is offered to older citizens during
the tax season. Forms are available
year round at the Reference Desk including reproducible tax forms (1987-present).
Meeting Rooms
When not in use for library purposes they may be used by approved groups
holding programs of a primarily cultural,
educational, civic or community nature.
Senior Connections
Visit us at the Senior Connections Help Desk and let our trained
volunteers assist you with your problem. Our goal
is to provide free information and referral services to the older
population.
