
Business Reference Collection: The Library offers up-to-date business sources that are generally not available in other Nassau County public libraries.
Foundation Center: Levittown Public Library is a designated Cooperating Collection of Foundation Center, offering both non-profit organizations and individuals a wide range of information concerning grant oriented funding. Searching can be done utilizing Foundation Directory Online or printed sources. Orientations to the collection are available upon request. Initially, appointments are suggested.
Genealogy Collection: The Library maintains a collection of genealogical resources. This collection includes books on specific ethnic genealogies as well as information on obtaining vital records. Federal and State censuses can be borrowed through the Nassau Library System.
Job and Career Information Collection: The Library maintains a collection of Test Preparation Study Guides for Civil Service Exams, books and pamphlets on careers, current jobs and education.
Levittown History Collection: The Library maintains a special collection of material on the history of Levittown. It includes books, photographs, magazines, microfilm (local newspapers) and videos on Levitt and Sons Inc. houses, Levitt's other developments, the Levittown Public Library and the Levittown Union Free School District (#5). The collection also includes a broad spectrum of information about the Community. Out-of-Town Telephone Directory Collection: The Library maintains telephone directories of all major cities in the United States, selected directories from smaller locations and some foreign directories.
Plays Collection: The Library maintains a collection of acting editions of plays published by the Dramatists Play Service and Samuel French.
Public Service Commission and New York State Documents Collection: At the request of the Public Service Commission the Library is a depository for its various documents many of which pertain to filing for proposed rate increase. The Library is also a depository for selected New York State documents.
