The following books are recommended as good reading for kindergartners
by the Nassau Library System and the Long Beach Public Library.
An asterisk after the author's name means that this book is part of a series.

The Adventures of Charlotte and Henry
by Bob Graham. Charlotte is wild and reckless; Henry is cautious and likes to worry. Nevertheless, they are best friends. Five funny stories.
