PRESCHOOL
SHOWCASE
Wednesday, October 22, 7 - 9 p.m. in the Community Room
Adults only, please (Children will not be permitted to attend)
Parents of preschool children will have an opportunity to meet and listen
to brief presentations
from directors of Manhasset-area preschools. Following sign-in and refreshments,
the program
will begin promptly
at 7:30 p.m. After the presentations, parents will have an opportunity to
meet the
directors
to ask questions and receive brochures and applications. The Preschool showcase
is being
hosted by the Great Neck-Manhasset Community
Child Care Partnership. For more information, call

PUMPKIN PAINTING

WITH MAGGIE
Saturday, November 8, 2 - 3 p.m.
Grades 3 - 6
Join author Selena Winter in learning about Maggie, a child
with Cerebral Palsy who
shows her inspirational story over a tow and a-half year period. The author
uses
photography combined with text to depict the world of special needs as well
as
Maggie's ability to play sports and have fun with family and friends. There
will be a
raffle for a gift certificate and other giveaways!

All storytimes are held in the Children's Room.
REGISTRATION LOTTERY INFORMATION: Lottery
entries will be accepted only from
Monday, October 6 through Sunday, October 19. Any entries received before
Monday,
October 6, at 9 a.m. will be disqualified. One entry per child.Siblings
registering for
the same program need submit only one entry. Entries must include child's
name,
address, phone number, date of birth, grade (if applicable), and the barcode
number
from a family library card.
Entrants will be phoned with lottery results either on Monday,
October 20 or
Tuesday, October 21.. Lottery entries may be submitted in person, by phone,
fax, or
e-mail.
TOYTIME
Ages 6 months-2 1/2 years, with caregiver.

Enjoy playtime, songs and stories.
Children enrolled in Toytime may not
