The Manhasset Public Library is proud to introduce downloadable audiobooks for use by our library patrons.
If you love listening to books ond CD or cassette but hate to wait for the bestsellers on your reserve list, you'll love eAudiobooks! With a selection of over 1000 unabridged titles to choose from and the entire catalogue of the Pimsleur Language Instruction Series (38 different foreign languages) at your disposal, there is no reason to delay.
After completing a on time registration process, patrons have access to hundreds of audiobooks (best sellers, book club favorites as well as classics) that can be played on a wide range of portable devices that support secure WMA files. (Ipods currently do not support this file type.) Downloadable audiobooks from Recorded Books and 
NetLibrary are digital versions of audiobooks that are available through the Internet that can be checked out, downloaded, listened to on a computer, and transferred to a portable playback device.
The download process is fast and easy and above all convenient. The Manhasset Public Library's audiobook collection is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Listening materials are available whenever and wherever you want them.

After you are confirmed as one of our patrons, you will be prompted to create a NetLibrary username and password with which you can download audiobooks.
