Download Audiobooks

Free downloadable books are now available from Massapequa Library

We are pleased to announce our participation in the Nassau Digital Doorway – a service that allows you to check out and download audiobooks anytime, anywhere. Patrons may browse the growing collection of best-selling and classic titles. Once downloaded, digital titles can be enjoyed on the computer or transferred to a variety of portable devices,. Many audio titles can also be burned to CD (when allowed by the publisher) to enjoy in the car. Patrons may check out up to five titles at a time, and at the end of the seven day lending period, the audiobooks will expire from the PC and automatically be returned to the digital collection. The expired files will remain on your computer until you delete them.

To access the Massapequa Public Library digital audiobook collection you will need:

• A valid Massapequa Public Library card
• Access to the Internet (high-speed connection preferred)
• Free downloadable software that downloads audiobooks to your computer.
