FRIENDS' 2007 PIANO FUNDRAISER FOR THE MINEOLA MEMORIAL LIBRARY
Time is running out for you to participate in the Friends' fundraising drive for a baby grand piano for the Library. To reach their goal of $17,600 (88 keys @ $200 per key), the Friends still need to raise $3,400. Of the 88 keys, only 17 remain unsold.

We are happy to announce that we our new Key Players are: Mineola Teachers’ Association; Mary Anne Phillips, donation In Memory Of her father Joseph Sheckard; and, Dottie Campbell, In Honor Of her father, Frank Totter who is 97 years old. In addition, the Mineola AARP Chapter #4202 has become a Patron for 2008 by renewing with a generous contribution of $100.00.
Members will shortly receive their 2008 renewal notices. If you join the Friends now or renew your membership before February 1, 2008, you will automatically be entered in a drawing for a $100.00 Border’s gift certificate.
An idea for the holiday season might be to purchase a Piano Key in memory of, or in honor of, an associate, a loved one or a friend. If you haven’t already made a donation to our Piano Fundraiser, this would be a great time to do so—a donation of any amount will qualify you as a Piano Lover and your name will appear on a framed list in the library. Everyone, we mean everyone, who makes a donation will be acknowledged.
Do you need a tax deduction for 2007? The Friends is a not for profit organization chartered by NYS. All donations to the Friends are tax deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law.
