Father’s Day Story/Craft Programs
Join us as we honor our wonderful dads with a special program of stories and crafts. Choose either Monday, June 15 @ 3:30-4:15 pm for grades K-2 or Wednesday, June 17 @ 1:30-2:15 pm for ages 3-5, with parent/caregiver.

Do you have a teddy bear? Are your between the ages of 3 and 5? Do you like to eat a picnic lunch? If you can say yes to these questions, then bring your Mom or Dad along to the library for a “beary-special” picnic right here at the library. We will hear stories about our teddy bear friends, and we will even go on a (teddy) bear hunt! Bring your lunch in a paper bag marked with your name. The library will provide juice and cookies. Don’t forget to bring your own teddy bear or other stuffed animal friend with you for show and tell. See you there!

Join certified yoga instructor Miss Vicky for the last preschool yoga program in this series. This is a program of simple yoga poses and stretches. Wear loose, comfortable clothing. For children ages 3-5, with parent/caregiver. Mats available, if needed. No fee.

“Be Creative @ Your Library” is this year’s theme and young readers, from age 3 to grade 6 may join in the fun beginning Wednesday, June 24. To help us start things off, the talented singer/songwriter Anna Epstein Kravis will be here to host a program of musical, creative fun for the entire family. Children may sign up for the Summer Reading Club beginning Wednesday, June 24 or they may sign up on Sunday, June 28 either before or after the performance. Sign ups also continue during the week.
Children are encouraged to read and chart their progress throughout the summer. There will be raffles, prizes, guessing games, puzzles, craft programs, storytimes, musical performances, a circus show, storytelling workshops and more for children from preschoolers to tweens. Mark your calendars and please do join us for a summer of creative fun at the library !
