Free wireless internet access is now available at the North Bellmore Public Library. The user will need a notebook/laptop computer or other wireless device with 802.11b or 802.11g wireless networking.   The wireless internet we offer is unfiltered.  By choosing to use this free service, the user agrees to abide by the  Library's Internet Policy .
        This policy states the limitations of internet access and your responsibilities for using this access.  As any other Public WIFI access network, this network is not secure.  Information sent to and from your network/laptop computer may be captured by anyone else with a wireless device and appropriate software.
        Library staff is not able to provide technical assistance and no guarantee can be made that the user will be able to make a wireless connection.  The Library assumes no responsibility for the safety of equipment or for notebook/laptop computer or other wireless device configurations, security, or data files resulting from connection to the Library's wireless access.
