Join us as we explore some of what Brooklyn has to offer.
Alison Hendon, the Youth Selection Coordinator at Brooklyn Public Library will give us a tour of the Central Library and a brief talk about how she selects books for the YA Manga & Graphic Novel Collections. From there we will walk to the Brooklyn Museum for lunch in the cafe followed by a guided tour of the museum. The tour will include the special exhibitions: The Dinner Party by Judy Chicago and Japonisme in American Graphic Art, 1880-1920. After exploring the museum we will have a tour of the museum library.

11:00 a.m.: Meet @ Brooklyn Public Library: Central Library Grand Army Plaza Brooklyn, NY 11238

12:15 p.m.: Lunch in Brooklyn Museum Cafe

1:30 p.m.: Tour of the Brooklyn Museum & Museum Library

Cost: $10 for NCLA members/ $20 for non-members

Transportation will not be provided. We encourage you to commute together by train or carpool.
