Maureen Johnson, author of the popular teen novels Thirteen Little Blue Envelopes, Devilish, and the just released Suite Scarlett, shared her insights on authors' internet presence with YA librarians at our joint NCLA/SCLA YASD meeting.

According to Johnson, many authors can be found on Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, but while it's a great way to connect with fans and students there is no real way of measuring whether it increases readership or is just time spent not writing. Following Maureen's talk and Q & A session, she signed copies of all her books.
