Step One: Create an Account
You must create an account to use all of the services of NetLibrary.
Please have your library card barcode handy.
- To create a free account visit Netlibrary through this link. (this link will open in a new window)
- First you will be prompted to enter your library barcode.
- You will be directed to the Netlibrary webpage.
- Click on Create a Free Account. (Located on right-hand side of page)
- You will be prompted to enter a username and password as well as your name and e-mail address.
Step 2: Downloading
- Locate the book you wish to download by entering the title, author or keyword into the search bar.
- Once you have found the title click on Download this Audiobook.
- Select the quality of the download. (CD quality is generally required to use the audiobook on a portable player)
eAudiobooks can be transferred to most portable devices. (Currently, iPods are not compatible)

Step Three: Listen!
You can listen right from your computer or from a portable player.
You will need Windows Media Player v.9 or higher (or another program compatable with
Netlibrary audiobooks, click here to see a list) to play an audiobook on your computer.
Click here to download or upgrade Windows Media Player for free.
Simply Open Windows Media Player and select the file or begin the transfer
to your MP3 player.
You do not need to check in your audiobooks, they will be automatically
checked in on the due date.
