Babysitting and First Aid Workshop
If you are interested in becoming a babysitter or mothers helper this program is for you! This program taught by RN’s, JoAnn Tank and Georgett Basso,will teach you the basics of babysitting & first aid. Bring an infant sized doll or stuffed animal to practice with. Registration now taking place.

Twilight Party for Teens
Thirsty for fun? Come celebrate the movie release of New Moon. Watch the
movie Twilight, play trivia games and take a bite out of some tasty snacks.

Chocolate Cornucopia for Teens
Give thanks with Chocolate! Create a beautiful and delicious centerpiece
for Thanksgiving. Registration begins 11/10 for NM teens in grades 7 and up
and all others 6 and up 11/17 for all others.

Teen Advisory Board
Teen volunteers needed! Help develop program ideas, prepare for the summer
reading program and other special events. This is a fun volunteer opportunity for teens
in grades 7—12. Community service credit will be awarded. The TAB meets the
first Tuesday of every month, unless otherwise noted.

Meet the Sitter
This is a unique opportunity for the graduates of The North Merrick Public Library’s Young Adult Babysitting Workshop to meet with potential employers. All teen participants must have a permission slip signed by a parent or guardian and must have completed the babysitting workshop at the library. Registration begins November 25th.

Chocolate Reindeer and Snowman: a Cookie Workshop for Tweens
These cookie are almost too cute to eat! Join us as we create snowman and
reindeer cookies, perfect for a holiday party or to share with friend and family.
