The Summer Reading Club and Programs are open to all North Merrick Teens entering grades 7-12.

PROGRAMS AND EVENTS

Registration for the SRC begins June 15th
( Registration for individual programs begins two weeks prior to each event.)

  • Creative Clay * June 29 th 7—8 pm - Make a cup, incense holder, animal figure or your own abstract sculpture!
  • Chocolate Sculpture * July 1 st 7 pm - Create a work of art using CHOCOLATE!
  • Teens & Tots Training Session * July 6 th or 9 th - Great community service opportunity!
  • Harry Potter Party * July 7 th 7 pm - Celebrate the release of HP & the Half Blood Prince with food, games & fun.
  • Photography Workshop * July 16 th 7 pm - Learn to shoot like a pro and display your work at the NMPL.
  • Clay and Pewter Pendant * August 10 th 7 - Design a necklace for yourself or use as a gift.
  • Tie Dye Cakes * August 14 th 4:30 pm - Take home a cake with your own unique design.
  • SRC Party (@ the Merrick Library) * August 20 th 4:30 pm - Participation in the SRC is required.
