When someone asks,” What’s for dinner?” and you respond, “Reservations,” check out Zagat Long Island Restaurants at the Reference Department. If you want additional suggestions, openings and closing of venues, or small bites, consult the Long Island Restaurant binder located on the Consumer Table. The list is updated twice weekly and is very informative. Some of my own suggestions:
·: After attending a lovely high tea at the Waldorf Astoria in NYC, I thought about another wonderful gem. The Lady Ann’s Vintage Tea Room right here in Levittown was a special experience.
.· For a slice of the South, try Smokin Al’s Famous BBQ Joint. Please dress casual, it could get messy.
· If you enjoy a touch of Greece, try the fresh fish and outstanding Greek salads, served at the 33 year old Mediterranean Snack Bar in Huntington. Tell owner Steve, Ilene sent you.
· For a fun, lively, tropical getaway, Laguna Grill comes to mind for tasty tangy dishes, including fabulous salads and potent drinks at the lively bar.
