  Circulation Policies

The Library Board of Trustees has adopted a policy of free access for all people who are issued Rockville Centre Public Library (RVCPL) borrowers cards, regardless of age.

The RVCPL Borrowers Card, adult or juvenile, may be used to borrow materials from the Adult and Children's Services Departments.

The Library does not attempt to censor materials borrowed by a juvenile borrower. The Library Board subscribes to the belief that it is the right of the parent or guardian, if they desire, not the Library, to place limitations on materials their child or children may borrow, except R-rated DVD and VHS.
