Songs & Rhymes for Baby's Day |
Children ages 1–3 years with an adult, will enjoy musical
wiggles, tickles and fingerplays with Dara and her guitar.
Proof of age is required for first time registrants. Shelter
Rock Public Library cardholders will be given preference.
Out-of-district and phone registrations will be accepted one
week prior to the actual date of the program.

Preschool Storytimes are designed for children ages 3–5 as a program of stories, simple songs, fingerplays and rhymes with other preschoolers. Sessions are offered three times each year. Out-of-district and phone registrations will be accepted one week prior to the actual date of the program.
Registration for Preschool Storytimes will begin Fri., Sept. 12.
Child must be 3 by October 1, 2008.

a program designed to encourage them
to read and discuss a selected book.
The selected book will be available at the time of registration.

Cork & Fuzz by Dori Chaconas
From their first meeting in a hollow log to playing pin-thetail-
on-the-turtle, from collecting rocks to dodging falling
pinecones, Cork and Fuzz are always up to something
unusual.

Clementine’s Letter by Sara Pennypacker
Clementine has adjusted to her new teacher, Mr. D’Matz,
but when he goes for an “Adventures for Teachers”
archaeological dig in Egypt, she has to follow completely
different rules with the substitute. As a finalist Mr. D’Matz
may not return for the rest of the school year and that may
be more than Clementine can handle.

No Talking by Andrew Clements
The fifth grade class has been nicknamed “The
Unshushables” by their teachers, but will that name change
after the “No Talking” contest between the girls and boys
of Laketon Elementary School?
