By joining the Bestseller Club you will be automatically placed on the reserve list for the latest fiction by your favorite authors.
How to join:
- Ask for the Bestseller Club Form at Readers' Services on the Second Floor.
- Choose up to 25 authors from our list of more than 140 popular fiction writers.
- Return the completed form to Readers' Services.
Your information (name, telephone number and library card) will be entered into a secure database along with your requested authors. When a new book by one of your selected authors is ordered for the library, you will automatically be placed on reserve for that book. We will then notify you when the book is available for pick up.

| How is the order of the reserves determined? |

To ensure the equality of all club members, the order of the reserve list rotates. This is to guarantee that no member will consistently have to wait long for a reserve to be filled. |
| What happens to reserves placed before a Bestseller Club reserve? |
| |
As our signature club, the Bestseller Club has priority reserve privileges. Any reserves placed by non-members will not be filled until every applicable Bestseller Club member has received a copy. |
| Are there exclusions to the Bestseller Club? |

Mass market paperbacks, large print editions, non-fiction titles and audiobooks are not available for automatic reservation. |
| Can I request an author who is not on the Bestseller Club form? |

Only the authors listed on the form are currently part of the Bestseller Club. The list will be updated periodically as more authors become available. If you would like to recommend an author, please see a Readers' Services librarian. |

To change or review your current selections, please see a Readers' Services librarian. Can't come in person? Librarians are also available by phone at 921-7161 x 239 and by email at readersservices@syossetlibrary.org. The database is secure and not accessible to all library staff, so please allow 24 hours for your request. |
