Jennie's Hat, by Ezra Jack Keats, was the inspiration for the library's weeklong celebration of children's literature. The week culiminated with our Hats on Parade event for children ages 3-7. Prizes were awarded to all children. In addition, everyone received copies of Jennie's Hat. All the programs were funded by an Ezra Jack Keats Minigrant awarded to the Henry Waldinger Memorial Library by the Ezra Jack Keats Foundation.
