9TH CHILDREN'S CHALK ART SHOW -The library held its 9th Children's Chalk Art Show on Saturday, April 21, 2007, from 10:00-10:45 a.m. Almost 40children drew chalk pictures on the walkway between the library and the Village Hall. All the children received certificates of achievement, ribbons, and door prizes. Mayor Edward Cahill and Village Trustees Joanne Antun, Guido Cirenza, and Edwin Fare were present to congratulate all the children. Town of Hempstead Councilman James Darcy also honored the children with his presence.
