The Henry Waldinger Memorial Library is holding "Celebrating America's Musical Diversity," a series of musical programs which were partially funded by a Nassau Grant for the Arts administered by the Long Island Arts Council at Freeport. On Thursday, March 8, 2007, the Aloha Iohani Dance Troupe performed Traditional Hawaiian Hula Dance & Steel Guitar Music and taught the children in the audience how to hula. The children had a great time wearing grass skirts and learning the hula.
