MORE MUSICAL DIVERSITY IN AMERICA - During the spring of 2009, the Henry Waldinger Memorial Library held "More Musical Diversity in America," a series of musical programs which were partially funded by a Nassau Grant for the Arts administered by the Long Island Arts Council at Freeport. The first program was held on Thursday, February 26, 2009, with Cowboy Ernie Sites presenting "Singing the Stories of the West," a family program of cowboy stories, songs, and music.
